Defining a Brand
Just like a person, a brand has it's own aspirations, values, and purpose in the world. By identifying those elements a brand is able to create consistency and reason for it's actions, and can then measure it's added value.
Amateur's focus is adding value to society by creating positive brand interactions thru marketing strategy, design and brand development. I am motivated by passionate leaders, and firmly believe that one has to truly love what they bring to the marketplace in order to create a positive impact.
Creating solutions for real business objectives that can tie a relationship around a Company, it's product, and the consumer who benefits from that offering.
Today's brands are defined by what they do for society, and not what they say they do. A Company's actions should strive to always add value back to it's product or service. I develop solutions that represent an investment towards a brands purpose.

It's important to firmly understand a marketplace, before developing creative executions within it's space. I partner with my clients to holistically understand each problem or motivation.

Amatéur functions as a lean agency. By lean, I mean one. Staying nimble allows me unlimited ways of engaging with new and existing clients. I immerse myself into the brands I work with, as each project provides it's own unique challenges.
Although I am one person, I have a lot of friends. I believe that collaboration produces the most impressive results. I always pursue the most appropriate solution for my partners, and tend to bring in expert individuals based on the characteristics of each project.
I am not tied to a skill set or employee roster. I have no hidden agendas. I am able to act efficiently, and produce quickly. I focus 100% on the companies I work with.

I have a variety of skill-set based on my career background from brand and product design, to marketing strategy, digital product development, and advertising. Having that range of experience has allowed me to efficiently blend the boundaries that commonly lay between creative fields.
PURPOSE IS AN INCREDIBLE MOTIVATOR.
I have had the opportunity to travel to parts of the world where help is needed most, and have met some incredible people that give their lives to bring women and children hope in the hardest places.
25% of Amatéur's profits are dedicated towards helping women and children in extreme poverty. That means the work I do for my clients must be best in class in order to deliver resources to those in need.
